In August 2006, we welcomed a new baby to our family, little Xander. He is the cutest dachshund puppy and came to us all the way from Mississippi.

The other kids have taken to him in varying degrees. Ling likes watching him, but, only from a distance. Lolita has been bold enough to go up and sniff him and hold her ground if he tries to chase her. The jury is still out on Harry. He seems to like him, but, only on his own terms.

It's definitely been an adjustment (many sleepless nights, constantly cleaning up accidents and keeping watch over him at all times), but, we are already in love with him and are so happy he has come to be a part of our family.
