The Hague

A nice building that bordered the park

Originally we had planned to stay half a day or more in The Hague, just to see a little more of the Netherlands than just Amsterdam. Unfortunately, the Hague, though the buildings are very modern and nice, was a bit sterile and dull. It was quiet and a change from the frantic pace in Amsterdam, but, there wasn’t much to see. We did, though, take a nice walk through a local park, which to our surprise had a little wildlife sanctuary. Not huge, just a small park of the park that was fenced off, but, inside were a bunch of grazing deer and creek with two curious ducks that seemed to be looking for handouts.
