| November 1, 2006 | Scottyanderich.com 2.0 is officially online!! This project took a lot longer than we ever anticipated, marked by an extremely busy summer which included the welcome addition to our family (little Xander!). The site is still under contruction and you can expect changes and additions over the next several weeks. But, we hope you enjoy the new site!

| October 13, 2006 | Congratulations go out to Aunt Chris and Paul on getting married. We are as happy for the both of you. Only you guys would be crazy enough to get married on Friday the 13th!!
|
| September 30, 2006 | Erich and I are off on a much needed vacation. We’re heading to Chicago, the windy city. Luckily my cousin Jaclyn is able to come down and take care of the little baby…and the other kids too of course! |
| September 27, 2006 | So, this semester is definitely a wash because I decided to drop Real Estate Principles as well. With starting the business, going on vacation and having time to spend with the kids, I can’t be bothered with the ridiculous busy work the instructor is making me do. On the plus side, I’ve already learned a lot and no longer see real estate lingo as a foreign language, but, I’ll feel better taking a self-paced course work of study. |
| September 25, 2006 | Happy Birthday to Kanya. Too bad you aren’t out here so we can take you to Vientos!! |

| August 29, 2006 | We just got back from Erich’s birthday camping trip. We had a bit of a delay due to him being in class the last three weekends, but, it was the much more fun with Xander. And after two days Harry, the pretty pretty princess was very ready to come home! |
| August 22, 2006 | Erich and I welcome a new addition to our family. Little baby Xander, a black and tan dachshund (that’s daks-hund, not dash-hound!). He comes all the way from Mississippi and quickly become the joy of our life. You can see pictures of him here. |
| August 21, 2006 | School is starting again and I am taking two classes, Intro to Architecture and Real Estate Principles. Luckily one is online. |
| August 18, 2006 | Book Review: "Roses Are Red" by James Patterson*** |
| August 15, 2006 | Scott was offered a job as Benefits Counselor at UCSF, which would have been a lateral move but a raise. Little did I know that I was such a hot property and my current department at UCOP decided to offer me a higher raise and more desirable job responsibilities. In the end, I decided to stay. And, as luck would have, one of my best friends at work ended up getting the position at UCSF and I am so happy for her!
|
| August 8, 2006 | Erich and I officially have started our new real estate investment/property management business, SandE Real Estate Venture, LLC. This marks another step in Erich’s goal to become independently wealthy and to finally be able to quit his awful job.
|
| August 7, 2006 | Happy birthday wishes go out to both my little sister Jessica (the 6th) and to Erich (the 10th). |
| August 1, 2006 | Erich is starting the course work to become a real estate broker. Not so much to do as full time career but rather to be able to close our own deals once our planned real estate business gets off the ground. |

| July 15, 2006 | New iTunes music: Gnarles Barkley – Crazy |
| July 2, 2006 | For Erich’s birthday, my mom took both of us (and Jessica) horseback riding at Squaw Valley. What a fun time we had! It was Erich’s first time and my second. My horse was a little spitfire. She kept trying to grab grass on the sides of the trail to eat when she wasn’t suppose to and got annoyed at the horse ahead of us who was too slow. |

| June 17, 2006 | Congratulations go out to my cousin Trisha who married her fiancé Andy this weekend at a beautiful ceremony at Heavenly Ski Resort in Tahoe. We got to take a gondola ride to the top and, despite and arduous and quite frightening shuttle ride to clubhouse, the view was amazing and the sunset wedding was perfect. We wish you all the best in your marriage.
|
| June 9, 2006 | Erich and I went to Reno to attend my mother’s graduation from her medical billing program which included, of all things, a hippy rock and roll preacher! We are so proud that my mom stuck with the program, despite the five nights a week schedule, and completed her program. It has already opened up opportunities for her as she has left Longs and is now working at an eye doctor’s office. Congratulations on the wonderful accomplishment! |
| May 19, 2006 | The preliminary stages of designing Scottyanderich.com 2.0 is under way! Though it was mentioned this would be happening at the beginning of the year, spending weekend after weekend doing crown molding and trim in the living room took its toll. But, the general layout, in theory, is almost sorted out (sounds definitive, doesn’t it!). Keep checking back for more details.
|
| May 12, 2006 | Today Erich and I celebrate five wonderful years of being together. Extra thanks (and congrats) go to my friends Angela and Ed for having their wedding on May 5 th, a week before I met Erich. For without them, with my bad memory, I would probably be one of those bad husbands that always forget their anniversary!
|
| May 6, 2006 | After dealing with the nightmare that has been the purchase of custom furniture (if you’re reading this, never shop at Bassett’s Furniture), our living room renovation is 98% complete. We only need to get an entertainment center and a bench for under the dining room window and we’re done. Soon onto the kitchen.

| April 26, 2006 | Erich went in for surgery today for a hernia in his abdomen. Though it was an outpatient procedure and I was able to bring him home the same day (in fact the bitchy nurse was practically throwing him out the building) it was still quite painful and he will have to take it easy (even if he doesn't want to).
|
| April 12, 2006 | Being somewhat philosophical, I realized the other day that with all my vacations and getting to see these wonderful places, I often forget that I am lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful metropolitan areas in the country, if not the world. In light of that, I am taking it upon myself to chronicle my city in photo. Check back here soon for links to my photos.
|
| April 9, 2006 | Happy Birthday to my friend Jennifer! Kelly and I finally managed to come through with our promise and visit you in Phoenix. Click here for more on our trip.

| March 9, 2006 | Ayla Brown was voted out of American Idol, the first in what will sure to be a long line of talented singers I like that will be voted out of the show. Mandisa and Katherine are my other favorites and I'm sure, because I like them, they won't make it to the end.
